Do you know what a winning streak is? Have you ever personally experienced a winning streak? The Wikipedia definition is: “In sports, a winning streak is a sequence of won games or competitions.”
Here is how I help you create a winning streak: Start using my visualization below, which takes about 23 minutes daily. After a few sessions the first thing you will notice is a “FLOW STATE” starting to build up gradually in your mind, while developing a higher level of focus, joy and an expanded positive mental attitude. This heightened level of awareness helps you create the beginning of incredible confidence in yourself and everything you do in life, and in particularly your athletic game or event.
The longer you continue doing the visualization daily, this “Flow State,” becomes an ingrained habit in your subconscious mind and over a short period of time it becomes your personal “Winning Streak.”
While living on your winning streak you start to perform closer to your physical and mental capacity. You begin to realize your potential as a human being and become more confident and joyful that you can in fact accomplish most anything you put your focus on.
Your life changes as you experience a shift in consciousness as you build confidence and and start to experience better and better results… you are now living in your own “Peak Performance Zone”.
The basic visualization below is the first step in a modular mental training program I have created. The visualization is free and you are welcome to use it as many time as you want with no obligation. Why is it free? Just imaging doing the “Forget a Negative” visualization and have a bad play, lost games, matches etc., erased from your memory. You now can start the next play, game or match with a clean mental slate. Imagine a football team coming in for the half time after having a distrasious first half and the coach taking a minute to help the team forget the terrible performance in the first half. The Bronze Medal Program

It is quite normal for the average athlete to spend two to fours a day training. This is the default/minimum amount of time needed to stay even with everyone else in your sport.
I can remember 10-12 years ago when weight lifting was not required training and now most teams have a dedicated strength and conditioning coach. Athletes are now required to work out with weights daily because every athlete is lifting weights today as part of their normal training.
The next level of training that will be mandatory in five years or so from now is everything in my three programs.
#1 - Healing Athletic Injuries
This program is very effective in reducing and over time eliminating chronic pain or new pain from a recent injuries.
The technique I use is very similar to the process Tibetan monks use to regulate the blood flow in their bodies, so they can meditate for hours outside in the snow without warm clothing.

#2 - Meditation
Meditation creates a greater sense of self-awareness. which allows us to mentally take inventory of our bodies. to reduce stress and anxiety with increased mental clarity and focus.
If you have tried meditation before you know how hard it is to get past the boredom and frustration of learning how to do just breathe in and breathe out without thinking and controlling your thoughts. It is very difficult to get past the mind chatter that most meditators experience. My meditation visualization gets you past this difficult phase so you can really start to enjoy meditation.
#3 - Forget a negative
You had a bad play, bad game, bad practice or a problem in your personal life and just cannot get past it.
It is almost impossible to recover from personal mistakes during a game, match or season. The event is weighing you down any you feel guilty and upset.
I will show you how to forget the error or bad play in seconds so you can approach your next performance with a clear mind and balanced emotions.
#4 - Mindful Meditation
Mindfulness Meditation is a mental training practice that involves focusing your mind on your emotions, thoughts, and sensations in the present moment.
Mindfulness Meditation can involve breathing practice, mental imagery, awareness of body and mind, and muscle and body relaxation.

#5 - Preparing for surgery
Professional and world ranked athletes often incur serious injuries that require surgery. The length of time it takes to recover and get back to normal will determine if the athlete can continue in the sport that season or have to wait for months to heal.
This visualization works with your subconscious mind to accept the corrective surgery and speed up the healing process.
Imagine reducing recovery from surgery times by 10% to 35% or more.
#6 - Best Sleep Ever
Most people think athletes have no problem sleeping since they get so much exercise. The mental strain and anxiety of competition can keep an athlete from having a good night’s sleep.
This short visualization is very fast and can be accomplished quickly while counting down from 100. I can’t remember a night when I had to count past 92.

ABOUT ME
My hometown is Ann Arbor Michigan. I graduated from the Western Michigan University with a degree in business and finance. I have lived in California now for over 30 years and love it. I have two daughters: Camilla who is a Freshman at Sacramento State University and Kathryn who graduated from Berkeley a couple years ago and is now a marriage and family Psychologist in Marin County. I live with a pair of standard poodles, Molly and Charlie.
I enjoy the mountains, ocean, blue water sailing, bicycle riding, swimming, weight lifting, reading/researching, photography, philosophy, meditation, biofeedback and do bikram (hot) yoga twice a week.
